Ibrooni / View Reference Robot

Revit documentation · Matchlines

View Reference Robot — Matchline view references.

Pick source and target views. The plugin opens each source, finds Matchlines, runs Revit’s View Reference command, selects the target, and places the click at an offset. Free for everyone until 31 January 2027. The first 100 verified accounts can claim a founder key whose six months start on 1 February 2027.

If Windows blocks the installer, download the ZIP, extract it, and run the MSI.

How it works

1. Pair Source and Target

Pick views in a browser-style dialog. Load a text list if you already know the pairs.

2. Find Matchlines

Each source view is opened and every Matchline is collected.

3. Offset the click

Default 2 ft from the Matchline midpoint. Right, left, or toward view center.

4. Drive View Reference

The official Revit command runs; the target is chosen in the Options Bar; the click is placed automatically.

FAQ

Is it free?

Yes for every user until 31 January 2027. The first 100 verified accounts can click Claim offer for six months starting 1 February 2027. Existing verified accounts can claim too while licenses remain. Remaining count is shown above.

Which Revit versions are supported?

Revit 2020 through 2027. The installer asks which years to include and whether to install for one user or the whole machine.

Where is it on the ribbon?

On the Birooni Tools tab, in the Project Setup panel, next to Project Setup and Create Views and Sheets.

Will Revit ask Always Load on every update?

Only after the first install. Later auto-updates replace the payload and leave the loader and .addin file in place.

Do I need to keep my hands off Revit while it runs?

Yes. Do not move the mouse or use the keyboard until the results dialog appears. Source views should already contain Matchlines, and each Target View must appear in the View Reference dropdown.
